Its not surprising that China has such a large population. They are known for have the largest population in the world. The large population can be due to the fact that it is such a large country in physical size. But with large such numbers, it is no surprise that they are having the problems that they are having. I knew that there was a definite problem with the population of China especially in the bigger cities. Now there are many problems with having such a large population; more mouths to feed, more people need jobs, more people needs housing. So it is a major problem to have this thing available to the population.
The quick change between the number of children being born is extraordinary. For a while families would have easily six children but that had to change. Coming from an large Irish Catholic family I couldn't imagine have just one kid in a family.
